Pisac is a village 33 kms from Cusco, in the Urubamba valley, Peru. It has a large market on Sundays.
Every Sunday, the mayors of the villages surrounding Pisac go to Mass at the church in Pisac. Afterwards, they parade out of the church, with attendants blowing Conch shells to clear the way.
