The photos below were taken during our three day exploration of the ancient streets and palaces of the Medina in Marrakech.

Travel details: We flew into the tourist resort of Agadir on a Sunway charter flight from Dublin (the airline was Atlas Blue), and immediately took a local bus to Marrakech. Our accommodation was a wonderful riad, the Riad Aida.

After Marrakech, we headed into the Atlas mountains.

KasbahMosque The 12th century Kasbah mosque. It has been renovated several times.

KoubbaBaAdiynWall1 Patterns on the walls of the 12th century Almoravid koubba, the Koubba Ba'Adiyn. The koubba has a similar style to many Spanish-Moorish buildings.
