Arriving in Reykjavik

We arrived early on Saturday morning in Keflavik airport, after a 3 hour flight from Heathrow with Icelandair. Iceland is renowned for being extremely expensive, and the taxi fares are no exception, so thankfully, we caught the bus which meets every flight. We were deposited, along with 4 or 5 clubbers at the doorstep of our guest house, the Travel Inn. The Travel Inn was carefully selected because of it's proximity to Reykjavik's main bus station.

After only a few hours sleep, we had a quick breakfast, went across the road to the bus station, and caught the 8 a.m. bus to Gulfoss, Geysir, and Selfoss.
